* Ranking Sports Teams with Linear Algebra (taught by NFL guard turned
MIT math professor John Urschel!)
* Glow Lab: The Science of Bioluminescence
* How to Build a Solar Car!
* Rocket Science: Fundamentals with the MIT Rocket Team
* Dragons: They're Everywhere
and many more! The deadline to sign up for the class lottery has been
extended to 11:59PM EST on Monday, November 3rd. Register now on
<http://esp.mit.edu/learn25> our website < <http://esp.mit.edu/learn25>

Registration
You can register for Splash at < <http://esp.mit.edu/learn25>
esp.mit.edu/learn25>. Classes will be assigned by lottery. The lottery is
not first-come first-serve: all submissions by the extended deadline
(November 3rd) will be treated equally, so take your time to look through
the <https://esp.mit.edu/learn/Splash/2025_Fall/catalog> catalog.
If you want a full schedule (maximum learning!), we recommend ranking at
least 3 classes and starring all the classes you are willing to take. All
rankings and stars will be entered into the lottery.
After you get your initial schedule (around a week from now), you will be
able to modify it during a first-come first-serve registration phase from
November 6th to 13th, and we'll send a separate email about it soon!
Make sure to rank your classes by the extended deadline, 11:59 PM EST on
November 3rd. Class assignments will be released on our website a few days
after the deadline, which is also when you'll be able to add or drop
classes.
Cost
The cost of attending Splash classes is $60, regardless of the number of
classes you're taking. However, please do not let financial limitations
prevent you from participating in the program if you are interested! We
offer generous need-based financial aid. The financial aid application and
payment will become available after class lottery results are released.
Other logistics
Splash will happen entirely on MIT's campus. We will communicate with
students primarily through email in the weeks leading up to Splash, so make
sure you regularly check the email address linked to your student account.
Please fill out the liability waiver at <https://esp.mit.edu/waiver>
https://esp.mit.edu/waiver as well.
We're excited to see you soon! Email us at <mailto:splash at mit.edu>
splash at mit.edu with any questions.
Best,
Sophie and Esther
