*TL;DR: First-come first-served registration for Splash 2025 is open now
and lottery results are out! Add or drop classes on the student portal
<http://esp.mit.edu/learnfrogs25> by Wednesday, March 12th.*
Hi ESP students!
The second phase of Splash registration is now open!
If you want to add another class to your schedule, you can add any classes
that still have open slots on a first-come first-served basis, or drop
classes you are no longer interested in. You can do this on the student
portal <http://esp.mit.edu/learnfrogs25> until 11:59 PM EST on March 12th.
If you entered the Splash class lottery, your preliminary class assignments
are also on the student portal <http://esp.mit.edu/learnfrogs25>.
If a class is full, you can check back occasionally — slots might open up
as others add and drop classes. If our website is slow to update, please be
patient and refresh the page. If you are no longer planning to attend a
class, please drop the class on the website so that others may take your
spot.
To attend Splash, there are two things you’ll need to do: fill out our
liability waiver and pay or apply for financial aid!
First, students and parents will need to sign the waiver at
https://cglink.me/2cy/s772, and we strongly recommend you complete the
waiver online before the program. This waiver includes emergency contact
information, an acknowledgement of MIT’s COVID policies, and a media
release form.
On the “Signer Information Page”, please fill out both student and parent
email addresses. The student should fill out their ESP Account information,
sign part A, and submit the form. After that, the parent will receive an
email with the link to the form and be able to fill in the rest of the
information. Please keep in mind, students won’t have access to fill out
their personal information until after they submit the forms to be sent to
their parents.
Second, you may pay for Splash online by credit card by March 12th or with
cash or check when you arrive. The cost of Splash is $70, but generous
financial aid is available. You can apply for financial aid (which covers
the program fee and the cost of meals and shirts) on the student portal.

Lunch (including vegetarian and dairy-free options) is free on both days at
Splash, but you must select meal tickets before paying. If you'd like to
preorder Splash t-shirts (design below) for $10, make sure to select it as
well. If you do not order a shirt online, we will have limited quantities
available to purchase day-of.
Other Splashes!
Northeastern University, just across the river from MIT, is holding their
Splash on Saturday, March 29th! Check out their website
<https://neptun.learningu.org/> for more details and to register. For more
Splash programs around the country, take a look here
<https://esp.mit.edu/learn/otheropportunities.html>!
Information about day-of logistics will be emailed to you in the week
before Splash, so keep an eye on the email linked to your student account.
If you have any questions, feel free to email us at splash at mit.edu. We look
forward to seeing you soon!
Best,
Geoffrey
