tl;dr: Splash 2025 is happening in-person on MIT’s campus again! Join us
this March 15-16 for a weekend-long learning extravaganza! Sign up for the

Come take classes on anything and everything at Splash! Splash 2025 is an
educational program for 7th-12th graders on the weekend of March 15th and
16th. Our 100+ classes are offered by MIT students and community members,
with topics as diverse as:


   -

   Berry Scientific: DNA Extraction Lab
   -

   Quantum Mechanics Without the Math
   -

   K-pop and Capitalism
   -

   Become a Spreadsheet Wielder
   -

   Fundamentals of Programming
   -

   Phonetics 101: how to pronounce anything


and many more! The deadline to sign up for the class lottery is 11:59PM EST
on Monday, March 3rd (in 2 days)! Register now on our website

Registration

You can register for Splash at <esp.mit.edu/learnfrogs25>. Classes will be
assigned by lottery. All submissions by the deadline (March 3rd) will be
treated equally, so take your time to look through the catalog. If you want
a full schedule (maximum learning!), we recommend ranking at least 2
classes and
starring all the classes you are willing to take. All rankings and stars
will be entered into the lottery. The lottery is not first-come
first-serve; all students who register before the deadline will be
considered equally.

After you get your initial schedule (a few days after March 3rd), you will
be able to modify it during a first-come first-served registration phase
from March 5th to March 12th, and we’ll send a separate email about it soon!

Make sure to rank your classes by the deadline, 11:59 PM EST on March 3rd.
Class assignments will be released on our website a few days after the
deadline, which is also when you’ll be able to add or drop classes.

Cost

The cost of attending Splash classes is $70, regardless of the number of
classes you're taking. However, please do not let financial limitations
prevent you from participating in the program if you are interested! We
offer generous need-based financial aid. The financial aid application,
liability waiver, and payment will become available after class lottery
results are released.

Other logistics

Splash will happen entirely on MIT's campus. We will communicate with
students primarily through email in the weeks leading up to Splash, so make
sure you regularly check the email address linked to your student account.
