[ESP Announcements] Registration is now open for Splash 2025!

TL;DR: Register to participate in Splash 2025

person on MIT campus on the weekend of March 15th and 16th ! Submit your
class preferences by Monday, March 3rd.


The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here! MIT Educational Studies
Program is excited to announce that registration is now open for Splash
2025, which will take place in person on the 15th and 16th of March 2025.

This year, Splash is a two-day learning extravaganza for middle and high
school students in grades 7-12, featuring 130+ classes taught by MIT
students on diverse and fun topics including:

   -

   Cosmology: the Universe at Large
   -

   Intro to Political Theory: Democracy and Capitalism
   -

   Web Development Crash Course
   -

   Introduction to Global Health
   -

   The Math and History of Cryptography

and many, many more! Join us to learn just about anything for a weekend on
the MIT campus!

Registration

The deadline to register is 11:59PM EST on Monday, March 3. Register now on our
website <http://esp.mit.edu/learnfrogs25> <esp.mit.edu/learnfrogs25> !

If you want a full schedule (maximum learning!), we recommend ranking at
least 2 classes and starring all the classes you are willing to take. All
rankings and stars will be entered into the lottery. The lottery is not
first-come first-serve; all students who register before the deadline will
be considered equally. After you get your initial schedule (a few days
after March 3), you will be able to modify it during a first-come
first-serve registration phase.

Cost and Financial Aid

Attending Splash costs $70 (increased from Splash 2023 due to higher
per-student costs on our end). We offer generous financial aid and we
strongly encourage anyone who needs it to request aid. Cost should NOT
prevent you from coming to our programs. If you think you or your parents
would have trouble paying to attend, please fill out the financial aid
application when you sign up for a program.

Online payment will open a few days after the lottery closes. After payment
opens, you will have until March 10 to pay for the program online or
request financial aid online. After that date, you’ll have to make payment
or request financial aid in-person when you check in to Splash.

Other Logistics

We will send emails to Splash students in the weeks leading up to Splash,
so make sure you regularly check the email address that you registered
with.
