[ESP Announcements] Splash 2019 registration is now open!

Dear ESP Students,


The MIT Educational Studies Program is pleased to announce that student
registration for Splash 2019 is now open! Splash is for high school
students in grades 9–12. This year, it will run on November 23 and 24 (the
weekend before Thanksgiving). We’re excited to offer over 500 classes this
year, including:

   - Crash Course in the History of Everything
   - Code Golf: How to Write Bad Code
   - Let’s talk about the NBA!
   - Anime through the Ages
   - Fermat’s Last Theorem
   -

   How to Not Sleep at Concerts


Join us to learn just about anything for a weekend on the MIT campus!

How to Register

Splash uses a lottery to assign students to classes. You will have until 11:59
PM EDT on Thursday, October 31 to submit your lottery preferences.

Start the registration process

steps 0–2. The class catalog is located here
<https://esp.mit.edu/learn/Splash/2019/view_classes>.

If you want a full schedule (maximum learning!), we recommend ranking at
least 3 classes and starring at least 10 classes per time block, or you may
end up with many empty class blocks. All rankings and stars will be entered
into the lottery. The lottery is not first-come first-serve; classes will
be assigned after registration has closed, so take your time. Make sure to
pick and rank your classes by the deadline (October 31). Class assignments
will be released by Sunday, November 3.
