Student registration for Summer HSSP has just opened!

Summer HSSP is a six-week academic program that runs on Sundays, beginning
on July 12 and ending on August 16. Classes -- both academic and
non-academic -- are offered in 3 timeblocks for rising 7th-9th grade
students between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and 4 timeblocks between 11 a.m. and
5:00 p.m. for rising 10th grade students through college freshmen, with a
one-hour lunch break.

Open to rising 7th graders through rising college freshmen (high school
class of 2015), Summer HSSP offers exciting classes such as Introduction to
Quantum Mechanics, Improv Comedy, and Make a Website. Check out the catalog
and register at

Classes will be assigned by lottery; all registrations before June 17 will
be considered equally, so take your time to look through the catalog. You
can express interest in as many classes as you'd like and rank up to three
classes per time block as 'priority'.

The lottery stage of registration will close at 11:59 p.m. on June 17. We
expect to publish lottery results on June 22. Once results go live, you'll
be able to add and drop classes until July 5, when registration is entirely
closed.

The total cost of attending Summer HSSP is $40, which includes all six
Sundays of classes. We also offer generous need-based financial aid.

We hope to see you this summer! Email us at <summer-hssp at mit.edu> if you
have questions about this program.

Best,

Summer HSSP Directors
