Greetings from the Educational Studies Program!

because you wanted to learn more about the programs we run. We have two
programs running this Spring, which you can find more information about
below or at our website.

Think neuroscience sounds awesome?

Always wondered about linguistics?

Learn something awesome at Spring HSSP! Choose up to four 7-week courses on
dozens of topics, both academic and not. Our classes this semester include
Quantum Mechanics, Linguistics, Microbiology, Dance, Combinatorics, and
more!

HSSP runs from 10:30am to 4:30pm on Saturdays from March 2 to April 27,
excluding March 16 and April 13. The cost of the program is $40, but as
with all of our programs, generous financial aid is available! We encourage
all students for whom the cost is prohibitive to apply for financial aid as
part of the registration process. More information about Spring HSSP is

*The first phase of registration is now open and will end on February 15*.
You can register from your student account at <
esp.mit.edu/learn/HSSP/2013_Spring/studentreg>. This first phase is a
lottery, and all registrations before this deadline are considered equally.
Take your time to look through the catalog, and choose up to three classes
per time block that you might want to take. After the lottery is run, you
will have an opportunity to register for or switch into any classes with
spots still available. This phase of registration will open on February 19
and close on February 26.

Spark is a one-day program on March 16 on the MIT campus for students in
grades 7-12. Come take awesome classes from MIT students on nearly any
subject imaginable! *Registration opens February 19* at <
esp.mit.edu/learn/Spark>, and more information will be coming soon.
